Dialect coach Erik Singer once again takes a look at idiolects, better known as the specific way one individual speaks. Did Rami Malek do a good job speaking through prosthetics to become Freddie Mercury? How accurate was Jennifer Lawrence’s Long Island accent in Joy? Did Christian Bale nail former Vice President Dick Cheney?

Rami Malek's accent is awful
I was looking for John Malkovitch!
You need to see Lane Smith as Nixon in The Final Days, a 1990s TV movie. He. Nailed. It. Dan Hedaya was terrible, Cusak wasn't close, and Langella was a caricature.
Guys guys if your yugioh fans, he the voice of Jim crocodile cook in gx
I really wanna see him talk about Tom hanks playing Mr Rogers, I’m curious to know how good of a job he did.
this guy… 🔥 🔥 🔥
Dennis has branched out
It's a little annoying that he spends all his time analysing English but wont ever refer to an English person as having an English accent, always British.
the editor really has fun with these movie clips lol
Erik Singer: I am so impressed by your presentation of this material. It would have been easy for a snide or mocking tone to have crept into your remarks, especially when dealing with the less savory characters here. You are always scholarly and respectful, no matter who you're presenting.
I always wished when this series was to end he'd switch back to his real accent and it'd turn out he was irish or Scottish or something
I like how he uses Her Majesty's title rather than referring to her more bluntly as "the Queen." He shows more respect than one can normally expect these days.
Please get this guy back for more videos!
Ok but I love this dude's eyes I mean that shade is amazing lmao
This guy is great and interesting.
I miss this guy 😔
I'd like for this guy to teach me an accent although I'm not in any movie or show. 😀

Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this man is now the most sought after accent/dialect expert in Hollywood demanding the highest price for his time.
Wow
Eric is…. H O T
VERY interesting.
Super insightful.
Shout out to whomever is editing these videos
U should do ANTHONY GAUDIOSO in THE GHOST AND THE WHALE. The actor gained 70 pounds and spoke with a coastal inflection. He should of been nominated.
1:54 My dear, "those teeth are ***FARTHER*** forward. " (because those teeth are more far forward, not more fur forward)
What about Margot Robbie in, “I, Tonya?” She’s Australian & learns a low-class, american accent for Tanya.
Billy West is the only Nixon voice I will believe
I didn't know Christian Bale was English until this video. This is literally the first time I've heard Christian speak in his native tongue.
It’s the dialect daddy!
High Fall. So that's what they call Christopher Walken's style.
This was fantastic and fascinating.
i need him to pick apart my speech now
25 smooth minutes. loved the video thoroughly…
He's so comfortable being in front of the camera!
Yep I’m definitely a beard gal
Why is it so hard for non-Australians to do an Australian accent? I feel like Australians in general can mimic other accents quite easily but nobody can seem to do ours very well
If you get bored, you could yourself do an impression of matthew mcconaughey… xD (sorry)
Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher is amazingly accurate. Gillian Anderson is also very good
Interesting! 12:25 "Kyoo Klux Klan!" As an expert in elocution (supposedly), can you hear your own accent as well? Do you pronounce those newspaper cutouts as "Kyoopons?"
Is it just me or does he look like he’s about 7 feet tall
