I found this limestone cave during my trek in Carvoeiro. But you don’t habe to go for trek yo reach here. This region is called the algar seco.

The algar seco are a series of fascinating cliff formations that are carved out of limestone bedrock.

This cave is called “A Boneca” (the doll). The short cave passage leads to a small chamber and the view point, two eroded arches with views out over the deep blues of the ocean.

The “A Boneca” cave name originates from the seaside exterior, which resembles a doll, with 2 cave arches forming the eyes of the doll.

This place is open 24 hours all 7 days a week.
