My sister and I traveled to beautiful Portugal to spend a well-deserved vacation after a whole year of hard work. Everyone needs to take time off to destress and just relax. We all need to be in perfect shape, particularly our mental health, it has to be in top form to be able to deliver at work and be 100% there for our families too. So, African women out there- Do not be afraid or ashamed to take time off and treat yourselves to a good vacation, you all deserve it. It does not have to be a Europe tour, it can be a trip down to the next town or county (that is if you live in beautiful Kenya). It could be a trip to any of the East African Community countries, it does not matter. What matters is that you travel, experience new things and cultures, meet new people, and most importantly REST.
