Boeing 737-200 I have managed BA, LH, AF, TP, DL, UA, OA and Air Europe, then again I am at lot older than you, Talking old you werent even born when Aloha roof came off, so why the big worry? Oh Josh, what a saga with your passport! Imagine if that had happened in a big developed city? Loved the old B737-200… not sure I’d want to spend a long flight aboard her, but it would be fun to to have a peep inside for nostalgia’s sake, hoping the aroma of lots & lots of passengers isn’t too strong! I’ll really be able to relax when I know you’re home safely, which you probably are now ! (Do I sound like a worrying Mum, or what…😊). A great African adventure. Cheers!

Sorry for your flight troubles with Mozambican airline I'm Mozambican living in Europe for 22 years and I went to Mozambique after many years my experience wasn't the problems with Immigration but l was robbed they took my wedding ring and mobile phone by armed robbery I pray that Mozambique Government look into all this problems and make us to be welcome home and to the country

Hey Josh your story doesn’t add up….I have watched your video many times & if they really didn’t want you to enter Mozambique because they needed a chocolate, they will haven’t given you a temporary pepper to enter the country. Personally I think they where genuinely asking you for a chocolate not a bribe. Also it looks like she really liked you.

It gets ridiculous how things work in Maputo somtimes. Sometimes people will request bribes just to do their basic job. I've seen people paying up just to get their ID done, it's ridiculous. And what's sad is that some of these people actually pick these jobs precisely because of the bribes they know they'll make. You'd be surprised how much quicker your passport situation could've been handled if you'd given her even 5usd. BUT, when you realise that those IOs prolly make less than 100usd monthly, you begin to understand their motivations.

All I can say is I have being fortunate to fly on a 737-200 back in my youth days, such a great plane.

Hi Josh, sorry for your experience in Mozambique. As Mozambican citizen and living in the UK for many years now, I feel so nervous when I travel back home. I am treated as foreigner in my own country. Corruption is on all levels, you were actually lucky by having only hand language. Otherwise you would have lose your check-in language or give away all your belongings. Once again and on behalf of good and honest Mozambican citizen, please accept my sincere apologies. Don't get discouraged in visiting Mozambique again, in regardless, still great country.

Thanks for sharing the clip. Mozambique airport is terrible and one of the worse in Africa. I also had quite a few experiences at the airport asked for bribe…but one you are out Maputo is beautiful!
