Hotel Vila Recife Room 508 Albufeira Old town Portugal Algarve I paid £29.52 for this room on the top floor , the hotel does have a lift but you need to walk up to this room from reception on Floor 3. The hotel is in a noisy location with 2 bars across the street.

Nothing worse than noise at night, but a great tip is to get a white noise app on your phone. There are loads of free ones so you might have to try a couple to get one that suits you. For me, the ones that mimic fan noises are the best (not whale noises, or rain lol) and if you've never tried one before you might be wondering how adding more noise to the noise that's going on already will help you but it absolutely does. When people are talking, or music is playing, or pipes are banging, your brain starts to focus on these noises looking for patterns and you can't get to sleep, but when you play one of these apps it puts white noise over the top of it all which your brain can't focus on so you fall asleep. You really should try it, it'll cost you nothing.
