At PRAIA DE MARINHA we can take a really deep breath.
We are so overwhelmed by this beauty. The area is absolutely spectacular, we want to see more.
There is an easy walk along the coast to the famous BENAGIL Cliffs.

We can charge the Tesla at the campsite.
The campsites cost us between 10 and 15 euros a day with electricity here in the low season.

There is still so much to discover here in the Algarve.
Today we have chosen two destinations, first we drive to a nearby beach.
The beach is clean, with golden sand and beautiful rocks.

We’ve heard about spectacular cliffs with a lighthouse, that’s where we want to go next.
And also here…. The Algarve coast is incredibly impressive.

OLHÃO has a beautiful old town with a harbour, promenade and many shops, restaurants and cafes.
Compared to other European countries, Portugal is very cheap and the quality is still very high.
Portugal is a relatively poor European country and even if many things are cheap for us,
it is very different for locals with an average gross income of around 1200 euros a month.
And many earn even less…

The walk on the endless beach of Praia da Falésia just feels good. The light here in the Algarve is wonderfully golden even in November. And those special red cliffs are just spectacular.

We understand everyone who emigrates here only too well.
Portugal and of course the Algarve in particular is simply fantastic.
And the Portuguese are so welcoming, you feel welcome.
