Trip report. Lisbon to Faro Algarve. First Class. CP Comboios de Portugal. First Class experience. Portugal Lisbon. Any good?
I had a flight from Faro and had to travel from Lisbon. I bought cheap ticket online. CP had first class promotion cheap price. First Class had and air con, large seats and almost no passengers. Train was 1 hour late, so I advice to fly to Faro, rather than taking a train.

Hi! I'm planning on taking a train from Lisbon to Albufeira. I had a question regarding luggage. I will probably have 2 personal items and a carry-on suitcase. I would like to keep everything with me but understand that if I don't have room, there's a section where I can store my suitcase. I heard that if you stay towards the end of the carriages, you can keep an eye on them. Did you have any luggage? Did you feel like your things were safe? I'd like to keep my items with me at all times so I'm trying to be prepared for what my options are on these trains. Thanks for any help!
Great video. How would you recommend getting from Lisbon to Algeciras, Spain (near Gibraltar)? According to rome2rio.com, there are a few options: train Lisbon to Faro, then bus Faro to Sevilla, then bus Sevilla to Algeciras (5 hours bus rides total). Or fly to Tangier, take ferry to Gibraltar. Or fly to Malaga, Spain, take 2 hours bus to Algeciras. Thanks. Would I miss a lot of great scenery flying instead of train/bus?
