Amendoeira Golf Resort is a resort in the Algarve that has 270 hectares of surrounding nature, several swimming pools, two awarded 18 hole golf courses and one 9 hole golf course, the only illuminated golf course in the country, and a Golf Academy, with a driving range and putting green.

You can also find two football fields, made to FIFA standards, six Savannah tennis courts, a fully equipped Tecnhogym gymnasium, a jogging path and a children’s playground. Aside from that, there is also a “Kidz Club” that hosts activities for children, keeping them entertained during the day.

Mixing all of the above with the surrounding nature, the various pools for each apartment set, the private pools for the villas and the 10 minute distance to the beach, Amendoeira Golf Resort offers you all you need to have a delightful time.

Amendoeira Golf Resort is located in Alcantarilha, Armação De Pera, Algarve, a 30 minute drive from Faro airport. It’s a beautiful village, with stunning scenery, but also quite close to the beach, with the nearest just a 10 minute car drive.

It takes about two hours and 20 minutes to go from Alcantarilha to Lisbon or Sevilla, so a daytrip is actually quite a possible fit, either if you want to explore the capital of Portugal or get to know the Spanish historical city.

Being a coastal area, Algarve has numerous beautiful beaches surrounded by preserved nature and sparkly white sand. An average of 300 days of sunshine per year, blue skies and water temperatures that can reach 23 celsius degrees in the Summer, makes Algarve a great place to relax, to tan and to soak in the warm water. Marinha, Praia da Falésia and Praia do Carvoeiro are just a few examples of beaches you can discover nearby. Amendoeira Golf Resort also offers a free daily shuttle to the beach.
