I think most people these days are too soft to live a self sustaining life! They seem to have an excuse for just about everything NOT to live a minimalist life style.

Good video. My property taxes are only $3,300 and I get discount for being an old fart! I believe people are scared or fear sets in or lack of self esteem or courage or want someone to do it for them. My reason is I need to get off the pot.

Quail and rabbits are stealth meat and eggs. Heard of those raising both in apartments even. A lot here wised up but already use it too. Used to see lots of free fire wood. Darn. Storms that take down trees got me some free wood. The fireplace stores have year waits now. Went there for some things.
I see a couple trees ready to fall.😄Hardwood.
The air conditioner has been in the garage for a few years now.
Of course the cat just knocked down my only manual clock other than an automatic watch. Almost broke it.

August!! And we have the windows open with a fan in a rear window blowing out to create air flow through the house. We don't use the AC except in the infrequent event of the air just being too warm to be comfortable, usually about 3 or 4 weeks total each Summer.

We're still not using our AC and it's been nice not to we use a fan instead we're still in the camper and solar is doing well with everything we use we're at the point of stocking closet pantry next month it's going to be filled up we're still doing the thirty day challenge and living a self sustaining life style we love living off the grid as you guys are adventually we're going to have a garden next year we stock alot of can meats as we don't have chickens along with our dry goods let's all pull together and live off the grid folks it's a better life style than living on the grid and we don't have to worry bout the government saying that we can't do anything it's already happing folks please get with the program and start the off grid life style thanks for letting us share on your comments and great video Rob and Carolyn
