Where to get the best Pastel de Nata : Manteigaria or San Antonio
If you get them to takeaway, make sure you grab a packet of cinnamon and icing sugar from the counter too.

Our favourite sight was Torre de Belem
We loved the history, the design and the position on the river was beautiful.
Check out our instagram from more photos and stories :

Our favourite sunset spot is : padrão dos descobrimentos
This huge monument dedicated to the Portuguese navigators, sits on the river Tagus near Torre de Belem. It reflects the low sun light at sunset perfectly, turning the monument a deep golden colour.

The museums we visited : Museu do Combatente and Lisbon Military Museum
In both of these locations we learnt a lot about the history of the Portuguese armed forces, and got to see many different interesting things. In both places we were the only ones there and the Combatants museum is also a great sunset spot.

Where to stay in Lisbon : Santa Catarina Apartments
These beautifully appointed rooms have something for everyone. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and loved it. It is in a great location, close to old town and easily accessible to the other main sights in the city. The staff go over and above to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Lisbon.
