Hi from Sao Miguel!
This is a video about one of my days on Sao Miguel, Azores.
We are hanging out at home and then going to Vila Franca di Campo (there was a purpose and specific reason, however, the result was a fail, everything is explained in the video).
We also decided to get one of the most typical sweets (and one of the best ones as well) here on the Azores. Originally they come from the town of Vila Franca. It’s a nice experience to visit the shop you see in the video!
Vila Franca was the former capital of Sao Miguel, however, there was a huge earthquake and the town got destroyed. Then, they rebuilt the town, so it’s a very nice seaside town with a port – which we visited!
There is also one thing I recommend you to visit in Vila Franca the place is absolutely charming and perfect for snorkelling.

I love your videos so much. It's so beautiful in Azores. But your videos make me sad because I really miss being there myself. I left in 1992 and I haven't been back since. Thanks for making the videos though, I'll keep watching and keep trying to make it back there too.
