  1. I am personally not so sure if dual citizenship is a great gift for posterity. In some cases it works out but predictions of future developments especially in the range of decades and longer come with a lot of uncertainty. In some cases it can turn out as a problem for example when the children want to pursue a government career in the police force, military, foreign service dual or multiple citizenships are more seen as a liability than anything else. Additionally, especially US citizens have no problem traveling to EU and can enjoy EU travel freedom for upto 12 weeks without visa. Getting say a educational visa to study in the EU isn't a big deal either. So having a citizenship of a member state of the EU isn't that big of an advantage.

  2. I am a US citizen by birth and obtained Sweden citizenship. My children got dual citizenship. My grandchildren do not have the right to US citizenship because my daughter didn't live long enough in the US. She was born and raised in Sweden and only lived in the US for a few years as a child and one year as an adult. I actually am glad my grandkids aren't US citizens, considering the hassles it entails. Sometimes NOT getting something through one's parents can be a blessing.

  3. Andrew and team! I’m doing this!!! I have been following your channel for years and have been toying with the idea of moving to Mexico for years and we are FINALLY pulling the trigger- the main catalyst for NOW, not later is because we found out we are having our third (and last 🤣) baby. We conceived in Mexico and moving in less than 2 months. Selling everything and moving so we can get our other girls in school and settled so I can give birth and not only give our baby the gift of dual citizenship, but fast track the rest of our families permanent residency. You have always been an inspiration and I have learned so much from you!

In the next year- I’m going to be in touch to see about incorporating my blockchain business in another country outside of the US so we will have our ducks in a row to expatriate the US fully for good in 5 years.

    Thanks, again.
Would love to come to the NC Summit next year as well!

  4. Friends, the International Social Project CREATIVE SOCIETY is gaining tremendous momentum in the world. People from different countries, nationalities and religions are coming together to build a just society. Only together we can change our world!

  5. Unfortunately in my immediate future, dual citizenship is not in my cards. This is by my life circumstances, along with my heritage and aspirations.

    1) I am currently a US citizen. My career has been around defense and export controlled technology in the USA. I don't think I want to jeopardize that yet.

    2) The backgrounds of my wife and I really don't create an any advantage. My with is a dual Vietnam and US citizen, but Vietnam is not a great passport compared to USA. My background from India doesn't allow dual, but allows OCI which I have. I also have a waiver for Vietnam in my US passport.

    3) The aspirations of my wife and I are Southeast Asia… namely Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. Being a dual citizen in these places is either illegal or complicated if not born in one of those places.

We like Southern Europe and Latin America, and have traveled extensively, but we do not really see the benefit yet…maybe if we retire there, but more likely we are looking at Southeast Asia for retirement.

  6. Am 12 years old and super interested in Finance and Investing. I follow your channel and try to learn from it. I also think that giving kids my age the chance to learn about Finances it also a great gift. Thanks 🙂

  7. Sadly, if you’re an American, they’ll try to chain your kid into the US tax net.

Also, be sure that you can have dual citizenship. Japanese can’t for example. Would dual residence rather than dual nationality be a good option there?

  8. Everyone needs more than there salary to be financially stable. The the best thing to do with your money is to lnvest it rightly because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.

  9. Nomad Capitalist, getting a dual citizenship for our children is indeed very useful especially here in the Philippines. Our immigration officers tend to offload us from the airplane if we only have the Philippine passport. They always suspect us Filipino citizens of working illegally abroad. Here when we use the second passport (foreign passport), they cannot offload us from the airplane because they cannot anymore control us fully unlike the Filipino citizens who only have the Philippine passport. Now that I am already a dual citizen, I just hope the country that has granted me the second citizenship will become an officially recognized nation by the UN and many countries worldwide, so that this second passport of mine will become a valid international travel document.

  10. Am not a 6 figure rich person, but am working on a second citizenship, bought a house in Africa with my boyfriend who is african, will move there when the house is built, maybe even before and rent while the house is being built.
I enjoy watching Nomad Capitalist, it keeps me focus on my plan.

  11. There is not benefit to get dual citizenship, you don´t get any benefit. It´s a dual problem, when you are a citizen you have obligations like going to war, pay taxes an so on.

  12. The wisest thing that be on everyone’s mind currently is investing in different streams of income that doesn’t depend on the govt. especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in Gold, silver and digital currencies(BTC,ETH….)

  13. Bitcoin investors hope you guys are good Bitcoin has caused more damage in so many lives than good. Try investing on some other coins, like Dodge, etherum, Shiba, etc. these are the best places when it comes to trading your coins.
