The Bordeira beach is located on the Costa Vicentina, in the Algarve, next to two villages, Bordeira and Carrapateira, in the municipality of Aljezur. Although the beach is closer to the village of Carrapateira than to the village of Bordeira, they give it the name of Praia da Bordeira, due to the fact that the Bordeira stream flows into this beach. It is a beach characterized by its long sand and its beautiful dunes. This beach is popular with surfers and people looking for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of other Algarve beaches. Pedestrian access is easy.
