i mean it makes sense because the show has been constantly trying to revamp their image and cater to their audience since the pre-s7 scandals, when rupaul and michelle used to be vocal about these fights within the community and got a huge amount of backlash for it (i remember the whole carmen scandal and how ru and michelle were pissed about it lol)
what's really stupid to me is that "fishy" isn't even a slur or something, no one ever uses it in a derogatory way, thinking "haha women stink!!!", it's a great compliment, worded in a gross way because that's what drag is all about…

I respect AFAB queens but I’ve always felt it’s easier for them to do impersonate a woman than it is for a male to actually impersonate a woman. Is there any male drag kings out there if so I wonder how they are treated/ viewed by cisgender female drag kings. Also why is the term “fishy” such a big deal but the UK term “Knickers” has not been addressed, every time I hear that I pause for a second. Was just watching the latest episode of “Binge Queens” where the same queens at WOW watch Canadas Drag Race vs The World. In this episode, they were watching the “Weather Ball” episode. When Anita says that she is going to make a body suit, Morgen McMichaels and Mayhem Miller both say that if you are going to make a body suit, you better be “serving BODY!” and they both make an hourglass figure with their hands when they say this. Nina has been saying that queens need to actually pad and serve body for years and has gotten so much backlash for these statements. Will anyone get mad at Mayhem and Morgen though?? Probably not.
