Never swim at that beach,usually has E-Coli. Take a bus up the coast for clean water and good surf.Lisbon is an easy train ride away. See that and take ferry rides to other ports.Walk to Estoril in a nice adventure.
At 9:00,there is a little park to enjoy.The big mansion is worth a tour. It was owned by an enemy of the old Dictator, and had tgo flee for his life, leaving everything behind. the tour guide will tell you that he 'donated' the property.
