Cascais, Portugal May 2017

Cascais is a delightful Portuguese fishing town that is situated on the western edge of the beautiful Lisbon coastline, and is the region’s most popular holiday destination. Historically the town was a favourite with the Portuguese nobility, and today the town is an elegant blend of grand 19th century architecture, traditional Portuguese charm and outstanding tourist facilities.
These factors combine not just to make a great holiday destination but also an enjoyable day trip from Lisbon, which is less than 20 minutes away by train.

  1. Never swim at that beach, usually has E-Coli. Take a bus up the coast for clean water and good surf.Lisbon is an easy train ride away. See that and take ferry rides to other ports.Walk to Estoril in a nice adventure.

  2. At 9:00,there is a little park to enjoy. The big mansion is worth a tour. It was owned by an enemy of the old Dictator, and had tgo flee for his life, leaving everything behind. the tour guide will tell you that he 'donated' the property.

  3. Does anyone know who is singing (and what song?) around the 4:12 mark? (Male & Female) I tried looking for "NUNCA É SILÊNCIO VÃO" and could only find it by Carminho and it isn't this lively (and no male vocalist). 🙁
