With just six Seat 600’s to hire in Benidorm the Devesa family created Centauro Rent a Car in 1973. 45 years later the company boasts a fleet of more than 18.000 vehicles and 15 offices at the main airports in Spain & Portugal and AVE train stations and now with a major investment from Portobello Capital.

At present, Centauro Rent a Car has one of the most complete and up-to-date fleet of cars and includes a portfolio of hybrids and SUV’s, as well as family cars, automatics, convertibles, vans, as well as 7 and 9 seater people carriers. An excellent relationship with the main car manufacturers and the renewal of vehicles every 7 months are two fundamental aspects in being able to offer the best fleet to our customers and the best value for money.

Centauro Rent a Car are present at airports and AVE train stations on the Mediterranean coast, with offices in Barcelona, Majorca, Valencia, Benidorm, Alicante, Torrevieja and Murcia, as well as Madrid and the main destinations in Andalucia such as Malaga, Sevilla and Sevilla Santa Justa train station.

Since 2016, Centauro Rent a Car have consolidated its internationalization by opening offices in Portugal, with branches in Faro, Lisbon and Porto.
