We searched online and remotely viewed with estate agent from ppproperty.com
The research we did using google earth, google maps and looked at various reviews of shops and restaurants nearby
Looked at climate and road links, the house met out long list of things to have and the location looked ideal
The purchase was done remotely using Portugal solicitor POA and we paid a 10% non returnable deposit, Covid restrictions lifted and we visited the house to complete purchase
We then planned out work we needed both with builders and by ourselves and set a rough plan
This video is a guide around the house and most of the work we have done since viewing remotely 12 months ago
There have been a few disasters along the way , we’ll hiccups really but we have achieved all we wanted and all within our limited budget
We now have a house that is very liveable and will become our retirement property in a couple of years
