Back in Feb 2021, we found our farm online through Melanie of Homekey Portugal, after online views, decided to go ahead and buy, knowing we was trusting the right person to take care of all the legal side, this took a huge amount of pressure off.
Then time to have fun, into the mountains on the back of an open Jeep, by Melanie’s Partner Miguel who entertained us for 5 hours of adventure into the Mountains and visiting 4 River beaches, (not all shown as busy time of year, with children all enjoying the water)
Miguel showed us many sites and Wild life including Vultures flying above and educating us on the way of the areas including a figure silver statue, perched on the edge of the rocks very interesting legend that Miguel can tell you about.
amazing time, great Adventure, plenty of laughs and even chance to stop for drinks

so thought I would say hello, in Portugal we would practically be neighbours!
we have a small plot of land and a house in the village about 5 mins drive from you…
it was so lovely seeing the river beach at the Orceza and collecting water from the fountain at Monte Gordo…..that's where we collect our water!
we too are still in UK, but intend to be out there in autumn.

Can i ask, do you have to leave Portugal because of Schengen (90 days) ? Or have you found a better way to reside there permanently? Have you applied for permanent residency or suchlike?
