Jasper the hose is going up hill also so you are fighting gravity. Perhaps you can raise the hose near the well in a way that it runs downhill from the point. You can make simple X like structures highest at the well and 2 or 3 smaller ones on the way to Benjamin. Then the pump only works hard to get it to the highest point and gravity will do the rest. If that does not work, shop a pump with more power. Stay cool

Hi Jasper,,,,,Benjamin needs some mulch around the base of his trunk, straw or wood chips for example, it will keep the moisture locked in and stop it drying out so quick……thats if you can get the water out of the well lol. The stones will be retaining the suns heat also so move them out of the way. Stay safe in the heat,,,,, are you going live tomorrow night? ps the mini rebuild is looking great x

I worry…it looks so hot. In Hawaii we practice 10to4 – no work in the sun from 10am to 4pm. We are in the sub-tropics but I think sun stroke can happen anywhere. I think you may have lost a couple pounds today.

Hey Jasper since you love the view from the rooftop , have you thought about building straight up on house to make a terrace rooftop to lounge on in the mornings for coffee or evenings for a beer and dinner? I think you should it would be awesome to just go up on top and soak in the views and relax and unwind.

lift the water hose near the pump one or two meters (like a Camal hump🐪 ) then the gravity will help you deliver some water .

The submersible pump should have a screen before the impeller and if you sucked some slime it could be plugged

Jasper, pump your water halfway and into a tank, then move pump and pump the rest of the way.
