A lot has happened in a week, Gina has an accident and nearly breaks her nose. We also get some devastating news about our dog Mimosa!
We are Ken & Gina. In 2019 we left the UK in search of a simpler life, away from our office jobs, and the hustle and bustle of the big city. We sold our house, drove to Portugal in a Motorhome, left the Rat race behind us, and bought a farm. We found an amazing property in Castelo Branco, Central Portugal where we have lived for the last 3 years. We make these videos for our friends and family, and as a record to look back on to see how far we have come. Sorry to hear Mimosa is not well. Have you had your other dogs and cats tested? They could of been bitten as well. If not please have them tested. A friend of mine had a rescue dog from spain who was bitten by a sandfly after it was tested and given the all clear in spain only to die of it in scotland. So sad they didnt do the test again when the dog became unwell and all because it had been tested in spain. It's a painful death.
What an episode of unfortunate events, from Gina's nose to Mimosa's diagnosis. I hope they are both going to recover fine.

So sorrry about your fur baby. PLEASE in addition to her treatment, buy some Ivermectin. Fantastic for ALL parasites. Even using for cancer. Please try it. Good luck. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

One of the strangest helicopters I have ever seen, Gina! I guess things are different in Portugal, or was it the bump on the nose? 😉 Gina's nose looks painful, ouch! I hope Mimosa can live happily with the parasites if they can be kept at bay. That's a down side of living in such wonderful weather, all the nasties thrive there, too.

Hi guys, sorry to hear the bad news. Thanks for the heads up, our dog has just had the Rabies jab in preparation for our move over to Fundao later in the year. We had no idea about the sandfly problem! We will definitely be trying to cut the risk down by taking precautions. All the best Nikki & Tony.
