  1. Well I love Portugal and also Spain.
But with all those huge fires all over the place I don't know if Portugal or Spain is the place to pay more for less land now.
Knowing that someday it will burn down.
It's not if it's going to happen but when.
Also the issue of the water will become more and more a problem in the future.

  2. Bought mine 4 years ago for 8000 Euros And land with 10 olive trees for another 1000 euros. Electricity and water connected. I think I got a better deal on quality of house. Not as much to do as you have. Having a lot of land is just hard work, Apart from looking at it, what can you do with it?Lol

  3. It is important to note that asking prices are often totally disconnected from actual sale price here in Portugal. Often the price is more than double what the seller might accept. One property i know of asked 800k and the buyer offered 50k and it was accepted. Properties sit on the market for 5, even 10 years.

  4. Everyone who owns property in Portugal knows when someone else sells their property for way more than what it's worth to out of country buyers. Everyone who is selling now is fishing for the out of towner to pay double compared to the locals looking for property. If you have cash you can offer way less than asking price. Many Brits are leaving and trying to make a buck(look for obvious signs in the photos indicating English speakers). Things will calm down in the future. Right now Portugal is trendy, lots of Youtube vids, too many for my taste. I like the low key vibe of this one, I hope you keep going. But I won't be sad when the others stop posting

  5. Online prices are higher. What everbody should do, is learn Portugese and drive through the country and just look at the houses with the simple vende signs on it. The only way if you want to buy something cheap ….🇵🇹🌡🌞

  6. Jasper I don't need alot of land just a descent house are u able to help I will be ready very soon to make purchase I can't do any building work and need it as cheap as possible if I have to get builders preferably u lol in to do it

  7. Hi Jasper, even two years ago, in the place you have your properties, so calm, beautiful landscape, with water, electricity, not far from two or three big cities, sunny, big olive trees, vyneards, it was quite a good price, I would say an excellent price. I would say you can get a bigger land, quite isolated but no ruins or barns, and no permission to build. That is important people know from the estate agencies and the municipality. That place you are, is very calm, but still is not isolated, and that has no price that pays. A bit of paradise. 😉😉👌👌🍀🍀
