The drone story is so funny to me cause we moved to Morocco from Canada and my 8 y.o. had a mini drone. Nothing fancy, cheap thing from amazon, but there was a poster saying if you had a drone to declare it so I tell my husband who is himself Moroccan and he sends my daughter to show one of the officers standing there her mini drone. He laughed and said:"next time, don't show anyone 😉 put it back in your backpack, but eh, if you do see anything suspicious on your drone, call us! Okay?" They were so sweet about it.

I have traveled to different parts of the world but when I traveled to Egypt unfortunately I had a bad experience it's a beautiful country with many beautiful places but the majority of the time I was constantly bothered and harassed by the people almost everywhere I went . Trying to go somewhere was so chaotic and disorganized and it made it to where I didn't want to go out and explore anywhere unless I had a guide to basically guard me and show me around sadly its a country I don't see myself going back to.

Damn! That was soooo bad in so many levels..

I have a friend who's been to Egypt a couple of times, and he too says ''Never again.'', he was harassed and scammed by people all around him, people constantly harrasing and demanding money for everything and nothing, and people being constantly rude, unfriendly and unpleasant to be around. He was traveling with someone who also spoke the language, and local people who were being turned away by my friend during their inapropriated demands and behaviors constantly yelled and said rude and threatening comments ''behind his back'' and such things in the local language, he was told by his friend who spoke the language. Seems like a horrible place to be.

To visit Egypt you have to be ready to bribe your way from customs until the day you leave to the last gate agent. That is a very well known fact.

Let me comment by saying that almost 90% of Egyptians feel like they own the world no matter where they are. I am an expatriate working somewhere in a different country specifically in the Middle East and them (Egyptians) being employees just like I am in some case of the government especially to do with higher ranking sensitive offices like Baladiya(Ministry’s that deals with food and stuff) they treat even the owners or locals like trash until they are deported.

Yes, I have got very few Egyptian friends but I think it’s just in their blood being an ancient empire to that they are so special. En that’s how they’ll kill their tourism industry just because of feeling so special about themselves than any other nationalities. I’d never recommend to anyone about visiting such a nasty place if I witness on almost a daily basis and hear such horrible experiences that one has to go through. To me I’ll always give credit where it’s due, it’s better to deal with any other nationalities than dealing with them because of how hard headed they are. 👎
