This video covers Day 1 to 5, of my fantastic 18-day trip from the UK via Northern Spain to the ‘Pyrenees, Portugal & Picos’. Firstly, we rode into the Pyrenees, then across Spain to Portugal, and then North into the wonderful Picos National Park to spend a few days exploring. On tour, were 19 fellow motorcycle club members of this UK motorcycling club, www.pemc.co.uk. The trip was organised by myself & Wayne Morris pre-pandemic and had to be postponed until this time due to the previous travel restrictions within the UK and Europe.
The PEMC club has over 300 members, mostly based in the UK, who enjoy a wide variety of well-priced events and trips based around the UK & Europe.
Day 1 – Home to Portsmouth for the ferry crossing to Bilbao, Spain.
Day 2 – Onboard Brittany Ferries new ship, the ‘Salamanca’.
Days 3 – We ride from Bilbao to Pamplona on some twisty roads planned by myself.
Day 4 – We ride from Pamplona to Vielha in the Pyrenees on more twisty roads planned by myself.
Day 5 – We ride from Vielha to Villafranca del Penedes, West of Barcelona, on more routes planned by myself…unfortunately, I missed a crucial turn!
It looks great on a Smart TV, as it’s filmed in HD.

Love the Picos and Pyrenees, I am fortunate as I moved to south west France five years ago so no long ferry rides for me, looked like you were riding at a sedate pace and no fun for the guy on a sportsbike, especially on the off route part although these can be more fun! Surprised you ride with MPH still.
