The surprises for me were Iceland and Switzerland honestly, Moldova had a crazy energy no wonder they went through. Albania was not great last night, Austria was horrible.

I could only find eight acts that I'd want to see again. Of those eight, seven got through to the finals, very happy for them: Ukraine, Armenia, Greece, Portugal, Moldova, Norway and Iceland

Albania was terrible live…

I don't have a clear winner this year but nailed both Semi Finals Qualifiers 9/10 for Iceland i would have loved Albania nothing against Iceland it just was not on my radar while Albania was my 8th but i did get 9 of my 10 so i was happy ❤️✨ and for Semi Finals 2 i was praying really praying that Australia won't be the Albania of this night and luckily it didn't happen ❤️✨ but i also got only 9 of my 10 because my 11th Czechia qualified instead of my 10th that was Cyprus (i actually love both songs but i really wished it would have been Cyprus).

I feel sorry for Albania but tbh the vocals were not good 🙁 Staging shaded the song.

Albanias performance to me was not tastefull. Her voice is great thow. Austria didnt do well live. Switzerland surprised me, that voice and charisma, it took me in..

Cinan we love u from Albania,,, actualy maybe Ronela wasnt the best vocalist but honestly much better than some songs that qualified

Albania is the real winner, but we already know Ukraine is going to win.

Plus, the wardrobe. Warrior is the way to go, she can dance all like that and she will make it through if she stick with the warrior theme or warrior-princess griefing theme

Switzerland is so overrated, such a boring and cheap staging and song

Albania was in my top 5 but unfortunately she changed staging so much. She needed to keep that warrior princess dark style staging as she had on her national staging and choreography was better before then what they presented today. Moldova was amazing and they will get a lot of votes from the Balkans in the finals! Switzerland was Christmas classic vibe:) 😄

Albania's staging was a total mess. And anyone that didn't see this coming is either naive or delusional. That staging was an embarassment. I can't believe all of you thought "the staging was fantastic" 😫

I would replaced Moldova and Ukraine for Denmark and Croatia, I'm ok with other results and 8 qualified countries…
Very happy for Lithuania and Portugal, also for Iceland and Switzerland because almost no one wanted and predicted their qualification, they really slayed it! 😊
Albania is one of the most overrated states this year, their song, performance and outfits were bizzare and vulgar, mess staging and everything was over the top and too much so absolutely deserved non-qualification, Latvia for example deserved to be in final, interesting and catchy entry, also interpretation was funny!

The qualifications results tell that many don't know the songs in advance and watch live performance for the first time.
What they see is what they vote.

I don't know why everyone is so shocked about Albania. I personally like the song, and video clip, but let's be honest live performance was really poor, and I'm not talking about staging or her outfit, but about singing. She was out of tune most of the time unfortunately, so I'm not surprised that people who was hearing this song first time didn't vote for it.

Albania couldn't sing, she shouted and was out of tune. Same goes for Austria. No surprise there. I was rooting for Denmark. Too bad. They deserved to go to the final.
