The lady seems like an amazing person and a cool friend to hang out with. I love her loft. The vibes from just the historic building to her own loft of her style. Love it all! I also love the pool there with it looking like a garden oasis.

When i shared a 2 bedroom apartment with my abuser he isolated me until i had no friends other than him
He would get mad at me for spending time with my girlfriends because he knew they were single and thought when I went over to hang with them, there were a bunch of single men around. when I got home he would practically interrogate (not aggressive but in a pouty jealous way) to see if I had talked with any guys, touched any guys, smoked/drank, and no matter how much proof i gave him that there were never any guys there, he would find some reason to get irritated/self-conscious with me, lock me out of the master bedroom (where wed both sleep with both of our dogs) and hed talk to me through the walls the rest of the night asking me more questions through the walls till he fell asleep. I thought it was cute, and it kind of flattered me that he thought boys liked me so much they were flocking around me. (this was not the case i assure you)

He would throw parties at our home, even though i would always stay in my room and play video games (yeah I'm a nerdy old school kid like that, but I'm also a hot greek chick so he really won the lottery) and he could show off his girlfriend to all his friends. I wasn't allowed to bring my friends over because he would make them feel uncomfortable and unwanted, and he didn't like them there. So they stopped coming around. They eventually decided I was toxic because I wouldn't leave my boyfriend for them.

I eventually stopped going out to my friends' houses as much, and that made him more comfortable to start bringing me around his friends. He said he wouldn't introduce his friends to 'no hoe' so it took him 3 or 4 months to introduce me to his homeboys/girls. I loved his friends, for the most part. But they weren't my friends. None of them had my back , or really cared to get to know me or build a real friendship with me.
So there I was, alone, with no real friends, no real support, and thats when he started really hammering out the emotional abuse. I had no one I could talk to about if this was right/normal, or why I was being called a whore and getting spit at in the face & accused of whoring around/flirting with others, or smiling at people. I wasn't even leaving the house at this point anymore except to go to class and come right back. That's when I realized, "this is fucking crazy, you're a complete nutcase, and you have an imagination that leaks into your reality in a way you can't tell fantasy from reality".

Abusers isolate their victims not just physically, but socially. That overjealous thing – it's not because they actually think you're cheating, its because they don't want you to leave them, they don't want you to meet someone that turns out to be better than them, and they KNOW you deserve far better than them, they just don't want YOU to know it.

this is so critically important that everyone get informed of the abuse of the legal system that women exploit every day. thank you for shedding light on this. women can destroy mens entire life with one false claim !!!!!!!!!!!! it has to stop!!!!! everyone needed to know that the state Profits of of DV convictions …………… so they are not investigated. the charges are made immediately, with no evidence what so ever!! look up the ' "Duluth model of law" it will make you sick to your stomach. then look for funding of Duluth law. research is critical!!!
