  1. I think Gary should stop thinking on the past. He is wrong saying PL is better now than in the past, is just look on the stars that was playing the game in any team back then. People just realize what they lost when they don't have it again. Gary thinks that one player change everything, how about the rest doing their jobs as well? If everyone would be example of professionals like CR things would be different. Clubs are great with great players that make the history not those that are ordinary players. How many titles MU won after Cristiano left??? Is MU investing as Arsenal Man City Liverpool Chelsea for example? Cristiano talked with heart and love for the club and he had to speak out and not being complacent. Maybe now this can make people take other action to put the club where it belongs. I think Ronaldo sacrifices him self even hurting some minds that do not understand what it takes to become a winner in any sport.

  2. It's not surprising how things have paned out. Even before Eric T.H came to United, we kept hearing rumours of him saying that CR7 was not part of his United plans.

Ronaldo must pick his next club wisely for his professional and economic needs.

  3. Ronaldo’s comment about ten Hag was that he doesn’t respect people that doesn’t respect him. And his criticism of young players was that modern footballers, and society in general, are prone to an easier road than his generation. He was spot on of his observations.

  4. I doubt if Ronaldo actually has an close friends he is obvious one of the biggest arseholes on the planet and very easy to dislike personality wise 🤔 boring and annoying chap really

  5. Neville and a lot of people at MUFC seem to forget that CR was the best scorer of MUFC last season and was at the top of scorers in the Premier League and CL also. What they done to CR is ridiculous. CR and Messi are not like other players. Let CR leave ffs.

  6. Gary Neville. Leaving twice.. Why are you singling him out? Others have done it too at Man Utd! From what Ronaldo said Ten Hag provoked this. No empathy when he took time off for medical reasons with his family. Also Cristiano – did NOT rejoin the club knowing things had not changed. He admitted naivety to that. With respect to the young player comments – it was the fact they weren't absorbing advice – in one year/out the other. That infers, barring Dalot, the lack of respect runs deeper than with just the manager at the club. Would that help you want to continue to cheer those people on? It has just driven a wedge between them instead!

  7. How can anyone actually take Neville seriously? The guy is a mouth piece for Qatar. He's decided to take money from a dictatorship, so I can't really get behind anything he says. Zero credibility this guy.

  8. When Keane and Neville disagreed about the Ronaldo situation, I agree with Keane.
Ronaldo is/was still our best striker, his goals record even last season shows that.
Ronaldo has spoken about the poor infrastructure etc etc …he just wants to play. Also the club should have supported him when he had family issues.
Sorry Neville but your track record of "man management"/managerial record isn't exactly A1 is it? So why do we want to hear Gary's opinion?

  9. To be fair someone with an actual brain would think, do some research, maybe watch both interviews, and then come reply to this comment. What I'm saying here may offend some people and break their hearts but IDC. Many said Ronaldo was the problem at United, but he ended up performing better than most premier league players 21/22. Ending the season off with 24 goals and 3 assists in all competitions (ucl+epl). He was then criticized for not going according to the "high-press" tactic, which was also wrong b/c if they actually watched the games they would've seen Ronaldo making interceptions and regaining possession of the ball for UTD, so that argument would be invalid. Now going back to the summer of 2022. Ronaldo didn't show up for pre-season or training because of "family issues", then the media started speculating he wanted to leave the club, which indeed was true. Man Utd didn't want to let him go because he was part of their plans, but look where we are now. The facts speak for themselves. He didn't show up for pre-season b/c as we know in April, he lost his newborn baby, and his daughter was severely ill and had to be hospitalized. They didn't believe his claims. Where was the respect? Honestly.

  10. He is one of the best player in the world and will mostly be in many years to come. He was treated badly from the beginning. He has and is facing one of the most difficult times in his life after losing his father, no one over comes losing there newborn, and his daughter wasn't doing well. No one in there right mind would leave there family. And they hate him for that. 🙄🙄They showed him no empathy no respect and by the sounds of it he is being bullied to a certain degree. He is a human, how are you excepting him to behave?? There is only so much someone would put up with, before they start pushing back. And as he said saying nothing, or saying something he will be getting critizised

  11. Unlike many over verbose pundits on Talk Sport and suchlike Neville is thinking of OTHER people…us fans, younger players, and the game itself seen from the perspective of having done it rather than from the perspective of an over inflated opinion UTV
