Just 65 miles northwest of Lisbon is the peninsula of Peniche , the European continent’s westernmost city, and it’s popular for surfing, seafood and honest-to-goodness beaches. It’s all about the coastlines and islands here, so while in the area, we took a boat adventure and sailed to the Berlengas archipelago and experienced the natural reserve in all its glory. Cue hiking, boating, swimming and sunbathing!

On the last league of our weekend trip, we took bikes and cycled all the way to Baleal Island, surf heaven and Portuguese beach paradise. So much sand and sea than the eyes can see. It’s also great to catch up with friends there and enjoyed the final day of our stay by just being in the moment. This, by far, are the top tourist attractions of Peniche Portugal
