Hi Louise We haven't met but we went to see Cindy and Nick when we were last in Portugal in July. We have purchased a property you could say between the both of them near the village Vale de Prazeres. We are back over to sign for the property in November the 11th to the 23. We wont have any animals as it is a holiday home at the moment until we can retire early fingers crossed it the plan!. We were wondering if you would like to house sit a house so to speak ! you would be more than welcome to use it between house sits. We do have some work to do in it will be an ongoing project but it is livable the guy who lives there is moving into something smaller as he is getting to old to look after the place.
Maybe if you are in the area while we are there you could pop in for a look and a cuppa tea or coffee of course. Hopefully talk soon Jackie & Cyril Wade

Hi Louise, can you let me know how you start house sitting in Portugal and in order to start it, would l still need to have a years accommodation so that l can get residency on a D7. As l don't know how you started off. Did you come in on a different visa? Thanks Lesley.
