Exploring WWII Power Plants Abandoned Decades Apart – Amazing Contrast in Decay!

In this episode, we have the unique experience of exploring two identical structures, one shut down only recently and still in a semi-active state, and the other, abandoned and decaying for decades. Join us as we explore two power plants in very different states of decay that were once part of a massive ammunition factory.

  1. Look at all that copper inside the power plant. Give scrappers a few days and all that copper would be headed to nearby scrap yards and headed for China's smelter mills, along with the scrap steel melting next door at the China steel mills.

  2. thought we were smart some of the finest minds then just didnt realize we were killing ourselves in those plants we loved being there thought we were smart and we were just didnt know we were killing ourselves and everyone around us we know now we got get off fossill fuel

  3. worked in that industry since 1980 coal #4-5-6 bunker fuel briquets of coal orocessed in 1 inch squares chain grate stokers oulverized coal burned lik natural gas all bad for you but paid well 40$ plus in 70s great job just not safe loved still alive 60 + now wouldnt change a thing best high tech job of the day

  4. if its coal still a lot of emfs and radioactivity burning coal gives off radiation radiates everything around you coal is slightly radiactive most people who worked in coal plants died of cancer

  5. I wouldn't have gone into that first one with the turbine or whatever it was still running. You were trespassing on a privately owned and still partially operational industrial facility. The hasty escape at the end though was part of what makes this channel so awesome. It's not just sightseeing. It's high adventure!

  6. If I were to guess as to what that running equipment was, it would be an industrial compressor to distribute compressed air to the whole plant! I know they are very loud at the plant i work at.

  7.
