Windsor Castle has been the home to the Royal Family for almost 1,000 years, with the late Queen and Prince Philip, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson among the most recent residents.
The large estate contains a number of properties, including huge mansions and cosier cottages, which the Queen gifted to her loved ones over the years.

When you say 'cottage' most folks think Frogmore i a tiny wee cozy place. The 'cottage' has 10 bedrooms, a pool, a guest house, and a tennis court…it's a mansion!!!

She wanted to be as close as she can to the Queen, like a lot closer to the Queen than the other royal's wives, like Camilla and Kate. She probably thought that the Queen would bend rules for her, lol!

Why is this suddenly in the press again. This came out a while ago, couple of years. I remember thinking at the time, a Disney Princess wants to live in a Castle- they dont live in cottages!

Meaning: Adult rich kid tantrum with a side of entitlement garnished with new form of affluenza.
Nothing that she and Harry have demanded ever surprises me. Even down to the tiara for her wedding which she didn't get either. Although her Majesty did offer quite a few alternatives.
I used to like Meghan, being a massive Suits fan and I always liked Harry, being of similar age (William's age) I was fond of watching the boys grow. But MM is nothing but a manipulator. She has fed and nurtured Harry's insecurities and of being not the first Eire to the thrown and turned him against his family. And although I'm not a royalist, I really can not stand the level of disrespect this pair has shown the Royal family. Its Harry's OWN family for goodness sake!! They are a disgrace. I know a lot of Americans don't want them over there, but we don't want them over here either!
I have absolutely no time for them they are disgusting on so many levels and don’t deserve anything that was gifted to them. Including their titles

North America doesn’t have the history like Europe, I wish we did and Canada has even less history. In my opinion, conspiracy, whatever, Harry’s wife doesn’t recognize and has little appreciation of the history of those cottages, castles, etc. I remember hearing the story before the wedding that she wanted air fresheners in St. George’s chapel, Her Majesty shot that request down right quick
