  1. It is so wonderful it is to see you enjoying your retirement in my hometown, although progress has come to the island it still is very much a treasure in the Atlantic. I moved from Madeira to the US many years ago but still visit often, as my parents are still on the island, I miss it a lot and your videos help ground me in a sense. Muito Obrigada! Note: Go to Penha d'Àguia and have a queijada. 🙂

  2. Thx for sharing guys. Your videos are really helpful and i wish you all the best with your four-legged family member…

If possible please share in one of your upcoming videos cost of buying a car. Thx

  3. Hope your beloved dog is well again if not I pray pretty soon. It must have been a scare but for you to break in your emergency funds must have felt like a blessing that you had that set up. Just today I was talking about it with my hubby that in certain scenarios of our plan we forgot to calculate it in..my bad😅.

  4. Thanks for the great information. Thanks in advanced for taking the time and effort to talk about moving with your dog and the steps you took. Hope your doggie gets well soon.

  5. Glad your dog is feeling better. I don’t even want to think about how much that would cost in US. 🤣 Thanks for detailing out your expenses – always very interesting and helpful with our planning.

  6. If you would have had to take your dog to the vet here in the US that would have been 3x the cost. Sorry to hear about your dog, oddly enough I’m taking mine in today for an emergency visit. I’ve decided that once this dog is gone, I will not have another one during retirement. Would be interested in learning more about the process/cost of bringing your dog from the US. I’ve not figured that out yet.

  7. My left ankle has some issues that now prevent me from driving a manual transmission–and even without those, I'm a Midwesterner who never needed to become skilled at driving a stick on hills, and my wife has never been proficient with a manual. I have read from folks who winter in the Algarve that rentals with auto are scarce, but what about either rentals or used cars for purchase on Madeira? Thanks!

  8. It's budget time again! We hope you find this useful and we sure enjoy your comments! Who will be our 500th subscriber? Thanks SO much for your support @Track Us Down1!
