In this video we take a little trip to a local spot to see how Mungo the minibus drives now that he is nearly renovated and full of a house worth of stuff. We hope you enjoy the video.
We expect that ‘Mungo the Minibus’ will be our full time home for the next few years whilst we travel the UK and Europe, and whilst we work on our land and our little house in Central Portugal. The dream may be starting to become a reality.

Such a pretty walk. I traveled for many years with my husband in the Racing Team Transporter and many times ducked my head when we went through height restriction , lol.
Hi Darren and Elaine, it's really good to see you out and about in the van, and Max looked like he enjoyed it too, vans looking great, hope Darren didn't hurt himself too much when he fell, I've done it loads of times while out dog walking, and I looked like a tramp walking home, dog just thinks it's funny! enjoy yourselves 🌞🌞🖐
I think that it's always great to set off with no particular destination in mind. Turning up obscure roads to see where they take you etc. These days I think that sat navs spoil a lot of journeys, because you can miss out on seeing some gorgeous spots. As young kids, my parents would take us on mystery day coach trips………obviously the coach driver knew where we were bound and my parents usually twigged the destination early on, but being young my siblings and I never knew, so we thought that they were great.

When my boys were young we used to go for ‘no-where’ drives … we’d toss a two pence … heads right , tails left … we did have exciting mystery drives …. Now they are all grown up I still do this occasionally 😀
Do measure your van , height, length and width, pointing it obvious here !
…. Then stick these measurements inside glove compartment …and always carry a tape measure
… I do this … but my memory is what it isn’t, and I’ve swore blind I’d never make t through a tunnel , only to find I had lots of room also !
Perhaps it an age thing with me , but I’ve seen two lovely vans badly damaged in Spain coz of low tunnels , that’s made me super cautious !

I'm always worried about height of bridges, but funnily enough can never remember to actually find out the height of the van! Bonkers! Must go out with my measure,, NOW!!!
