Hi everyone welcome to Travelzilla. Please join me as I give you a walking tour of the city of FIGUEIRA DA FOZ, a very cool and quiet beach town in Portugal. The city is located on the coastal region of Central Portugal, just over 40 KM or 24.8 Miles from the famous city of COIMBRA, at the MONDEGO RIVER MOUTH. The city is very old and of immense importance in the region. It has many buildings of historic interest such as the FIGUEIRA DA FOZ Bullfight Arena, one of Portugal’s oldest casinos, churches, tiled buildings, the SANTA CATARINA FORTRESS and many nice beaches such as BUARCOS MOLHE-NORTE, CLARIDADE beach and many others.
I will also show you a little bit of Downtown Figueira da FOz, the city garden, the city market, the beautiful Sotto Mayor Palace, the Marina FIgueira da Foz and the waterfront. The city definitely has the widest urban beach in all of Europe and is famous for it!

Hi there! Next time cross the long bridge in Figueira to Praia Cabedelo! A big beautiful clean beach with more shallow water in the beginning which is a bit less cold because of that!
