Wow, welcome to my Country. Arriving in Montréal, even better. Let me know if you are going around Ottawa. A few questions, are you sure you can bring your van, I know that there are some restrictions for the right-hand drive vehicle. If you can bring it, that is great. Some suggestion. The Atlantic provinces. I have a property in Nova Scotia, we will be there with our small Airstream the last week of July, and the first 2 weeks of August. Let me know if you are looking for a dry camping spot. It's by the sea, across Peggy's cove. One tricky thing in Canada right now is to find camping spots. In Ontario, I strongly suggest you visit Algonquin park, if you go west. There is so much to explore here. Newfoundland and Labrador is another province that is beautiful. I am sure you will enjoy your visit, the province of Québec (where I am from) is great and the people are really nice. Let me know if you want to discuss this further. Have a safe trip

You can use a matte polyurethane varnish over things to make them wipeable without changing the finish. I do it when I limewash furniture x
