  1. If you're travelling in an Alfa Pendular train, the doors close automatically. If you're travelling in an Intercidade train, then you may close it yourself. However, there are always train staff (on the train) to close the doors.

  3. Sete Rios is a suburban station and it is reasonably very well signed. The problem is that they don t tell you that your train goes to Faro. If you know that it is easy..
The carriage number is show outside by the doors and likewise inside.

  4. This is how a civilized nation of people who work together lives. Unfortunately, because of Republicans and their oil and rubber and auto lobbyists, Americans aren't allowed to travel by train. Right-wing Trumpers just sit around and bitch about how crappy Amtrak is, while they refuse to fund it. F REPUBLICANS!

  5. In fact, Lisbon stations are the most confusing (poorly designed) in our network, even for Portuguese people. You went on our Intercity Express, but our "Alfa" (Highspeed train) is much more comfortable, even in 2nd class (Alfa second class is even better that Intercity first class)

  6. We almost went to Lisbon last winter. My kids would love the train ride. The train does look pretty nice. What video did you watch that made it seem crappy? Oh, free wifi is good. ya, the bathroom is bigger than an airplane's. thanks for the warning on the gap.

  7. Isn't it crazy how many transportation stations don't have enough signage? We had a similar experience recently in Denver… yes Denver! We ended up jumping on the train, hoping it was going where we wanted to go, luckily it did.

We too are big fans of train travel. We have taken advantage of some beautiful routes in Europe, Canada and Australia. There is something relaxing about watching the world rush by you.Like you said time flys on trains ;p

Thanks for sharing. Keep travel vlogging. Adventure is better shared with friends!

  8. Just when I thought how stressed out would I be to talk in front of the camera with other passengers around me, I realized you were almost by yourself. 🙂 The train looks really comfy, and I like how you described everything in detail (Mind the gap!:)), so other travellers taking that same train route can know exactly what to expect. (Also note to self: when in doubt about a hotel or a train or a bus, check youtube!).

  9. It must have been so stressful to not find any signs saying where you had to take your train!😅 I love how comfortable you are in front of the camera! Great review, it really seems like you have plenty of leg space, the fact that this train has free wifi is also super cool! Keep those awesome reviews coming!! Your videos are always so full of extra tips and information!
