As usual the Thai rules were made on the back of racism and greed.

Unfortunately the Thai Government will make any DN visa out of reach for those not earning six figures, or come up with ridiculous education or formal business credentials. They have proved themselves to be completely out of touch in terms of luring long term visitors. There's no point paying a small fortune if the main reason to live here in the first place is that it's inexpensive to do so!

They do skin cancer removal free in Oz -if you still have Medicare. I think those who've paid taxes for over 30 years in Australia should get Medicare for life, no matter where they move to retire. We Aussies abroad should collectively campaign for better treatment by our Government! Anyhoo, get well soon mate!

Tim I am not going to tell you how to treat your health. I have had very good success at removing basic skin cancer ( basal cell carcinoma) with cannabis oil. Put it on daily and it was gone after a few weeks.

What can you build on that? Need at least 5 rai's for a decent size house with some yard space. Size: 1 rai = 1 slice of rye bread. Not even enough to make a sandwich.
