Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Wow house is lovely I am sure your both gonna make I beautiful. I know you not had the best start with the fire and everything but you can pick yourselves up and move forward what choise do you have only to move forward and look forward to happy times. Good luck both .Rosie from Wales xx

  2. Lovely home. Have you thought of maximising the space under the stairs by creating a panelled wall effect that houses perpendicular pull out shelving? The last bit with freezer could be stored behind a door and you could maximise the wall space created to hang/store other items out of sight.

  3. I can see why you guys fell in love with this place! It truly is a dream home! Well done and please send Bee my love. I hope she's feeling better, and I hope you get one help with all these projects, especially whilst Bee is healing. ❤️

  4. Wow what a super, light filled home. Love the large open plan living area and the outside verandah. You will be able to make it your own without too much back-breaking work, but the good thing is it's completely livable as it is until you are ready to make changes!

  5. I'm so glad the fire didn't hit the main house.
Good luck with getting the water and electric back up and operational again.
I know it may seem overwhelming but you have all of the tools and know-how after all of the work you've done on the barn renovation.
I'm very excited for you both as you prepare for this new page in your book.
You're in my heart and mind Theo and Bee!

  6. Great tour Theo. As you say a good clean up and you could easily live there. No rush to do anything as it is all a matter of personal taste etc. Hope you get the electrics fixed soon. In a way it must be a bit annoying having to clear out somebody else’s stuff though as they left soooooo much stuff!

  7. So sorry to hear about bea but want to wish you both every success on your new home its gorgeous new dreams going forward do their own magic ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
