Galapagos Islands – Not Your Typical Tourist Destination

What do you imagine when you hear the word “Galápagos”? If you’re interested in booking this tour (or one similar), click this link for 5% off your booking:

We remember first reading about this island sanctuary, a place that has been undisturbed for millennia and overflowing with fearless life forms due to having evolved without human interference. But what the books fail to mention is that you truly have to experience this paradise in person to fully understand how spectacular it is.

Come along on a Galapagos cruise to discover endemic species like the massive land tortoises, swim with penguins and playful sea lions, dive with hammerheads and spotted eagle rays, and carefully step around more iguanas than you could ever count as we explore the islands.

We are thrilled to have been sponsored by the Ecuador Tourism Board to produce this video, and to help launch the Ecuador Film Residency program for content creators around the world. To find out more about the Ecuador Film Residency click here:

WHO ARE WE, YOU ASK?
Well, thanks for asking. We are Georg, Tara, Liv and Bodhi, a German-American family living in Colorado in the United States. We’re on a quest to travel to and report back from every country on this bright blue dot we call home. The word “Fernweh” in our channel name is German and translates to “the ache for distant places”.

George, there are zillions of YouTubers ,but the content you bring always glues me to my mobile or TV.

    Live long lovely life, folks.

It is lovely to see Liv growing and learning each day.

    God bless you all.

  3. Awesome video! I had the opportunity to go to Galapagos in April, would love to know in which month you guys went there. Also if is not much to ask, from what I see on the video seems you guys went on a private tour and it seems its worth it. Would love to know the agency you guys used to go there. Thanks a lot and keep up the great journeys with your awesome family!

  4. I came up with maybe 2021, At that time I was in my home country. Now I live in Germany. After watching your first video Masai Mara I just fell in love with your filming, Video quality, storytelling, and editing. You deserve more attention and more views. All the best and keep up your good job. ❤️

  5. Great video of nature… Unfortunately, you are wrong… Humans are NOT connected with penguins/mammals., our ancestors? Darwin has been proven so wrong when it comes to 'evolution'. And Darwin was an atheist. YaHuWaH is the creator of all things…. enjoy.

  6. This is an incredible video of adventure in absolutely amazing places with your family.. I really love the way you have captured everything. It's natural and beautiful. I really would love to visit here with my family.

  7. This is just the first video of yours that I am watching. I am just halfway through it and I have already subscribed to your channel. Absolutely brilliant content, videography, editing, and what not, especially you know how to capture human emotions/facial expressions…. I don't know anything about you but I think you have eons of experience making videos… Pro!
