We've got nearly the same clusterf*ck of alliances that existed then…NATO vs. a Sino-Russian alliance…which is kinda funny because basically China and Germany just switched sides, and I guess you could count Turkey too, though they were the Ottomans back then…(Yes, China sent 140,000 laborers as part of the British army, The Chinese Labor Corps during WW1)
