He will go for a short war with India, not to test the Indians but to TEST HIS OWN ARMY AND HIS GENERAL'S METTLE AND COMPETENCY. With India he can have a short war and withdraw but with Taiwan its a different story, once he gets in he cant' get out unless he completely subjugates Taiwan and it will be a brutal long war with uncertain outcome… amphibious assaults are not easy and requires lots of preparation… in fact in my humble opinion xi will not go to war with Taiwan but keep rattling the sabre.
