HAITI : A side the media won’t show you

Haiti 🇭🇹 is one of the most beautiful countries we have ever visited. Headlines for Haiti are often negative and we won’t be naive to say there are no issues. However, we experienced so much joy and beauty when we visited Cap-Haïtien and the surrounding islands. The history in Haiti is arguably some of the most important to the world today.

  1. This video is super welcomed by us Haitians. At this moment this video is symbol of hope . And hope is very valuable for us in Haiti right now. We are a beautiful people and we are strong. We will prevail. Thx you guys for taking the time to show the Haiti the way y’all did. I am a culinary chef in Haiti and i believe in this country more then anything in the world.

  2. first time im watching a video from your channel. As a Mauritian, the landscape of Haiti feels familiar. The world must be more aware that Haiti paid the greatest price for the freedom of Africans from slavery and be grateful to Haitians for their victory against Napoleon army by supporting the country more and more

  3. I have visited Haiti many years ago, before the earthquake. I had a GREAT time. Excellent food, magnificent art and good music. Never made it to the beach as I stayed in Port Au Prince but I know Haiti has amazing beaches.

  4. I used to spend my summers in Haiti and I was obsessed with the stars. I remember this being my best memory. Growing up in American I had never see stars like this. Best memory nostalgic seeing this

  5. I left Haïti in 2012 i was 11 years old and never had the chance to went back home and this videos brought so much confort , peace and happyness to my heart .I'll go back home this summer for sure . RIP Mikaben

  6. This was a beautiful visit. The Republic of Haiti is on my bucket list as well as Cuba. RIP Mikaben, you represented your country well. Wish stability, peace and abundance for the people of that Great Republic.

  7. Beautiful video! Thank you so much! I’ve been to all the places with AugusnelTourHaiti. I love Haiti and will continue to travel and support my people 💙❤️💙🇭🇹 Beautiful ending ❤

  8. Was loving the video, learning more about Haiti. Great production value, beautiful people beautiful country. Thank you for sharing this with us. And saw your homie Amir Perry. Funny story, one of his videos was helpful in helping me get a beat placement so I’m forever grateful for that, which further affirms the six degrees of separation. Dope!

  9. I can’t say I’m not just a bit jealous because I can’t really afford to experience this Ayiti you’re showing us. One thing that I MUST admit is that I LOVE the way you present EVERY place you share with us on your channel. It makes me want to save ALL my pennies to travel the world before I leave it. Even if it means eating packets of ramen noodles everyday just to save. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  10. Bruhhhh 105K views already?!?!? Let’s you know that we have been waiting. . . literally longing for this episode!!! And PassportHeavy delivered YET AGAIN. Omg OMAZING (Omg Amazing)!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

  11. This is a beautiful island but Haitians need to realize voodoo is blk magic witchcraft is not of God not of Jesus Christ! God will send messages and warnings, like earthquakes or tsunami to his children or to people to repent and turn from your wicked ways! No matter what, if you're not following Christ, the son of God, your following his enemy! It's just that simple! God said in the scriptures these is forbidden and abomination to God! To practice this is death to your soul! The 1st commitment is Thy shall not have no other god before me! I mean God the Creator said this from his own lips and it's the first thing written on his Commandments! Smh

  12. 🇭🇹❤️😍💕 This is truly an amazing portrayal of Haiti’s true beauty and richness. I feel so proud of how it was represented especially of Mikaben. This needs to be taken global so that the world can understand that Haiti is truly the pearl of the Caribbean. Thank you so much PH 😊.

  13. I’m all for showing the best and beauty of Haiti. But let’s be real the safety and the garbage is terrible and the poverty very bad. It’s hard to do tourism in Haiti because of that.

  14. I liked how this video had a positive outlook because there always needs to be hope. That said, Haiti has extremely serious issues and won't get better without extremely serious changes.

  15. Jubril, this episode is fire❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥. I just had this happy, amazing feeling the entire time I was watching this. And I totally agree with the brother, f*ck it, Freedom is better!!!

  16. sometime when you are in Haiti go out to the Artibonite Valley (North of PAP, and then East Verrettes – about 2 1/2 hours from PAP. Use my name and they'll treat you very well. I was there for 23 years and married a local. If you get there and have time, go to Vyelo, up in the hills (first village you get to above Verrettes). My in-laws lie there and will welcome you. The hills are so much nicer than the cities. Go past Verrettes to the river, daily activity revolves around the river. Haiti is so welcoming. I never felt in Danger. Might now. Turf wars among gangs.
