A rare opportunity to acquire an abandoned off grid Quinta/Farm with beautiful terraces, habitation licence, river side boundary and overlooking lake Cabril.
Absolute tranquillity and stunning views plus multiple terraces and a large property with a decent sized footprint of 116sqm and a habitation licence too.
For someone looking for peace and quiet, a permaculture off grid lifestyle and sustainability its just perfect.
The opportunity to put a temporary structure at the top of the land was also discussed with Fernando and by all means have this discussion regarding the legalities, it is possible!

Do you need a stonemason who can fix stuff like this? Please do not hesitate to contact me 🙂
Beautiful place but the work mrequired needs a young fit couple.and that is not say you and Sarah are not fit but have enought to do on your own place.
I’d keep the top as natural forest. Free firewood for winter. Water and nutrients run down the hill to those lovely terraces. What a view! Prefect size plot.
This place is absolutely beautiful. Raw but structured and can be managed. Lovely terraces. I can see myself sitting on one of those terraces and looking out to the lake, with a verbena of course. Stunning!
😎🍷🚍⚓️🇬🇧👍
I am really enjoying your property videos. But, why did you delete the video of the house in Casal de Sao Simao?
Another great video and beautiful property. I've read that you have to hire a registered builder to do any substantial work on a property in Portugal. Any idea how you get registered? My son is currently training as a traditional craft builder in the UK and is very interested in moving out there in the future.
we dont care u buyen it
Nick and Sarah, my wife and I are coming to Portugal from the US in a couple weeks to do some scouting for regions to move to. The Coimbra area is an area we are very interested in. Any chance to meet for a coffee or tea and pick your brains for an hour?!
Wow! That property looks like Machu Pichu when you look up from below. It is beautiful. Would be a big project. No fruit trees. 🙂👍👍👍👍
I love your property tours. I hope to find one for myself.
Thank you for showing us your beautiful urban countryside.❤️
Beautiful property and amazing views. Could you imagine having a food forest on top of the hill?
The country just looks like paradise
Not bad if you like the land of the Incas of Peru, too hilly not for me I doubt you would get a builders lorry up there.on the good side the views are great.
Lovely place looks lot more than an acre though!
Wow! TY and Fernando
Nice
Its absolutly beautiful land. Miss Sarah no luck with the oranges, :). Um bom fim de semana. Um grande abraço para os dois. Bj
🍀💐
If I would buy this and live off grid I would just create small roofs or put a tarp over the top of the standing structures that are encased in The terraces that would be my home.
That's just beautiful!
Lost history. I wonder. Spanish influence. Italian influence on the roof slabs
I wonder how quiet it is on hunting days. I've heard, depending on where you live, it can feel as though you're in a war zone. Any idea? How is it in the area where you live? Lots of gunshots on hunting days?
While this is pretty, its also a fire trap, you can clearly see has already been subject to a bad fire and with only the one dirt track in/out, this would not be top of my list for a Portuguese property – golden rule, check your fire escape routes and terrain.
I can't hear your voice..need to turn on the CC.Greeting from Sarawak, Borneo,Malaysia.
No Orange trees this time for Sarah to get a taste!
This is a property with some challenges!
Love the video Nick and Sarah. I would have loved to watch the construction of the terraces and stone buildings. Imagine the labor that went into transporting and stacking the stones. You definitely got your work out filming the land. Thanks again for all you and Sarah do for our viewing pleasure!
• What a fabulous idea to work with an agent.
• The view is muito miravilhosa.
• Like that property, we have access to the mountain water. Hopefully our bill from the camara will be lesser next month. We have started using the (free) water for washing, showering, flushing the toilet, watering the garden, etc.
All the best with your own renovation.
Really enjoyed watching this video – please do more !! It has so much potential, the views!! It would make a beautiful home 🤩
Stunning property…..just a pity I don't have that pot of gold….😉
Amazing property!
Wow they are still for sale
Stunning property! The beauty of it.
No fruit for Sarah though ha ha!
Loads of potential! I'd need to find a builder! Know anyone who works in Portugal?
Absolutely beautiful! I would love to watch you renovate it Nick! Thanks for sharing! P.S. suggestion – do a bit of an intro.
great location but still not sure what was part of the property and what wasn't ? and after watching your past problems with land borders its essential to get this on video . Is the track splitting the land an access road ? not brilliant for privacy if it is . Also the fence right next to house is the border ? wow! you could wake up to a neighbouring farmer drilling for water right next to your bed !!🤣🤣this seems to happen often with Portuguese properties. they build the house right next to the neighbours borders ! thanks for all the effort though. I do love these videos
Love these property viewings to give a great perspective of those, like me, who are looking for property and stuck on an island….. Keep them coming!
This is a gem! Wow, I think I'd live in a trailer, enjoy the land and make gardens within the ruin home with an iron gate entrance. This is buried history no doubt.
Wow, fabulous place.
Nick Need to invest in a drone For a different outlook
On these properties and that will bring your videos to the next level👍
