    Happy new year friends!

  2. I feel the exact same way about YouTube. It is a hobby for me at this point because I’m not getting payed so I don’t want to pour all this time into it and neglect my kids. Such a hard balance.

  3. I have two personal New Years goals, but I’m pretty much just hoping to stick to them for January – no refined sugar and run every day, even if just a mile! A more family oriented goal is to be a lot better about meal planning during the week! This homeschool year has been such a joy with my 1st grader and preschooler, as well as my toddler and baby along for the ride!! 😊 🥰 📚

  4. Love the teach mug!! So cute.
Goals for 2023 homeschool year sounds simple….wish it were lol….My 4th grade son is doing fantastic in all subjects except writing. I hope to find tools to make that more enjoyable for him. Planning to add IEW structure and style. Thanks for your fun videos! ✍️ 📃

  5. Hmm girl let me tell you. Homeschool is truly a blessing, there are challenges, but I wouldn't have it any other way. This year was one of those years where I had to let go and let God handle the things I wished I could. I planned and those plans didn't always behave themselves the way I wanted them to, but boy oh boy the rollercoaster ride of life in 2022 was filled with blessings, miracles and suprises 🎢🎁🎉🙌. "Intentional" was and continues to be the word going into 2023. Seeing my kids learning and their eagerness to share what they've learned (teach dad) is pricless💰. Continue doing what's best for you and your family. I enjoyed this video (no suprise 😉). Blessings

  6. 😩 exhausting
This year definitely took its toll I severely struggled with depression issues
2023 goal: Is to be more intentional with my kids be more present make the most of all those little moments and to learn to ask for help. Your channel is so inspiring ❤️

  7. This video was very inspirational and motivating for me. I am definitely starting to feel the winter blues here and not so motivated to start school on Monday. You got me excited to start up again. I also need to make a good balance with my channel now that I am getting starting up again. I want it to be fun and not overwhelming.

  8. 🫣 Goal-Continue growing in walk with Christ by dedicating more time in His Word and teaching my children by example in growing their love for Him. Blessing-welcoming our youngest into our family.

  9. 😳😪😬🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤪🤣😂😅😲🥲😁😀🥰😊 can I pick 15 emojis? So many emotions around our homeschoolong year! We even almost quit. I am grateful to be able to be homeschooling and grateful to finally kind of be getting into a groove w it. My goal is for me to lighten up and quit bringing public school home and my perfectionism and check all the boxes mentality. I would love to be brave enough to be just a little bit more on the unschool side. I want my kids to have fun and a love of learning and nurture joyful memories together and stop being stressed out and irritable all the time. And I want to focus more on developing disciples for the kingdom. With all the homeschool to get through, I feel like we're neglecting our relationship and walk with Jesus. Praying for balance and guidance and to let go and let God be the principal!!! Your channel helps, thank you!

  10. 😺📚✝💝 This year We finally added our kitten to the family, my girls are over the moon. I have started the declutter phase as well and just organized the homeschool shelves and am excited about starting the last 'semester' in January. We also found a church we feel comfortable in and my heart just fills with joy as answers just come to me for why things hadn't gone as plan.

In the new year I hope to do better with our time, get off socials more and just play with them more. I'm not going to stress over the house work, it will be done, in time. They are just small once. I love having found you as we need more Canadian homeschoolers speaking out.

  11. 🤦🏾‍♀️ this describes me during this past year trying to figure out what math curriculum to use for my struggling sixth grade grandson. But this also describes me. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 If I could use only one word to describe a goal for this year, it would be…consistent/consistency.

  12. Blessed, this was our second year home schooling all while jumping from place to place state to state since February/March since selling our home in florida and I'm just grateful to have my husband and kids that help with everything and has been good. Hopefully we will be able to buy a home in the new year where we need to be.

  13. 👊I would pick this Emoji. This is my 3rd year homeschooling and I'm finally realizing that I can do this! I got this and I'm gonna make it! We will get there, I just gotta keep going and give myself a fist pump now and then to keep me going. Sometimes we just need to pat ourselves on the back and look at the good moments and not the bad. My goal is to stop being such a perfectionist and let my kids be kids! It's a struggle.

  14. I love organising stuff and I declutter then!!! I can’t leave my kids behind when we travel but I grew up with the option of travelling with family and my brother Ben refused and now as an adult feels he missed out on family time!!! I want to be more intentional about time with my kids!!! I want to make school more fun for my older kids as we are at the age where it gets less fun unless we make it more fun!!! My daughter is loving dance and idk if she’s going to be like her older sister and give it up as she grows!!! It’s at the mall close to our house!!! My 5 year old is learning to swim and she hates it but it’s not optional as we live near the beach!!! My older kids hate swimming but can so they enjoy water sports!!!

  15. 2022 😩 4 funerals i attended and others i missed along with a strained marriage. 2022 was a hard one. my heart is weary. i am blessed to have my 4 wonderfully loving children and a loving God who looks over me. also blessed to have our homestead and the ability to grow so much of our own food in a time of food shortages. #1 goel for 2023 is to gain more structure in my home #2 goel is to improve my health now that i have weaned my youngest and don't plan to have any more babies. my body is not nourishing another person for the first time in 6 years as i nurse my babies untill they are 2 years old. God bless to all the mama's 💜

  16. Thank you for your videos! I love watching them. My personal goal is to get back to exercising and making sure that I take some time for myself. Our homeschooling goal is to get outside more and work on starting a garden in the Spring. We are looking to start the Campfire Curriculum unit. We live in Upstate New York and it's so cold with a lot of snow recently. I'm blessed that at times when I feel discouraged or feel like I'm not doing enough, my son shows how much he's grown within the last year. Sometimes I hear my almost four year old son singing a song like Jesus Loves Me or Fishers of Men. He's encouraged me when I'm scared or unsure of something, with saying "Fear Not, For I am With Thee". His love of books and wanting to read brings a smile to my face. I know I am doing something right. This homeschool year has a lot of of prayer including to thank for all of our blessings. We recently moved into our first home in November. 🙏🏠❄🛷

  17. I am grateful I have found your channel, I came on YT searching to find someone in Canada specifically that could guide me down the homeschooling journey…so I thank you! All the information I have needed I have found in your videos. As far as my goals for the New Year, I am going to continue to arm myself with knowledge to set up fully to start my son in 100% homeschooling in September. I will let him finish out his Grade 5 year on online school with homeschooling as a bonus from me as I have been doing. I’m so blessed to be able to completely homeschool my son starting Grade 6❤ I am also decluttering a lot and have researched a lot about the Fly Lady method (zone cleaning) you can tailor it to your specific needs, that’s what I have done and works great! I have also starting being more mindful of the things I allow surround my space, so I ask myself do I need it or do I want it? I’m trying my best to live with what I need instead of too much once wanted stuff. A less cluttered home helps my anxiety tremendously. All the best for 2023❤

  18. I don’t need to be in the giveaway but my year with kids would be described as 🙄 . There is no emoji for the attitude that have we have been dealing with for my second grader.

My goal is to just survive the days that I have and cherish the crappy attitudes. My life was recalibrated when a local girl died on the 15th from brain cancer at 6. I am going to work on counting my blessings instead of resenting some parts of motherhood.
