Completely surrounded by high cliffs, this small beach is known for its soft golden sand and crystal clear water. Protected from the wind, Praia do Carvalho is perfect for unwinding, swimming, diving and freefalling.

Due to the risk of rocks falling from the cliffs, be sure to stay protected by sitting at a safe distance from the cliff. It is also important to mention that there are no lifeguards on duty.

It is better to come prepared with everything you will need for the day, as there are no facilities on the beach. If you need anything, you’ll have to go back through the tunnel. However, as far as the disadvantages are concerned, this is nothing special.
