MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry are a “source of frustration” for Platinum Jubilee organisers as the couple are refusing to lock in details, a columnist has claimed.
Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are expected to return to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations this weekend. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed their attendance earlier this month, saying they were “excited and honoured” to be marking the milestone with the Queen. Their return had been the subject of mass speculation as just weeks before, Harry told NBC’s Hoda Kotb that he did not know whether he and his family would be in attendance.
While they will appear in some events, it has been confirmed that the Sussexes will not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Trooping the Colour on Thursday, as only working members of the Royal Family will be accompanying the Queen to watch the flypast.
They are expected to attend the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, but details of their involvement during the celebratory weekend are yet to be confirmed, reportedly causing “frustration” among the Jubilee organisers.
