In this video, we share with you our experience buying a car in Portugal. We did this about a month after we landed in Portugal (in February 2021). We purchased a used 2019 car and paid for it without a loan. This was before we became residents in Portugal, so we show you the steps we had to follow and the documentation that was required. In this video we also share with you other things we had to get in order to drive our car in Portugal, such as getting car insurance, paying for the car tax, toll device, and obtaining a parking permit. Although we don’t need to have a car to go to places, we love the convenience of having a car and using it for weekend and vacation gateways and to visit hidden gems around Portugal.
