You mentioned Dauphin Island. That is also a nice place to visit. Bellingraph Gardens is also a good place to visit. They probably have It decorated for Christmas.

Hi you two! We sure do enjoy watching your videos…the Gulf Shores are beautiful! We just recently retired and are looking forward to traveling soon! Our daughter and her family live near Pensacola and we were just down in Alabama very close to where you are for our granddaughters dance competition. One place she said you should really try to see is the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Pretty amazing she said! Make sure to stop in to Bucc-ees if you get the chance, fun place for gas, food, goodies and souvenirs! Happy Travels!

We traveled to Portugal in May 2021 on a organized tour and truly enjoyed ourselves. With all the wonderful information you have shared we are returning to Portugal in late February for three weeks. We used your tips and will be enjoying our time in the Algarve.

We just got back from Portugal in October
we were surprised at the amount of tourists everywhere.
We started in Lisbon , travelled by train to Evora, then
up to Porto for our river cruise.
We did not see travellers wearing masks.
and yes, we both got covid !
I had brought along our rapid Covid test kit from home B.C. 🇨🇦
We have had all our Covid shots and booster shots, so,
we were not that sick, dry cough, chills for a few days.
we stayed in our cabin a few days until symptoms passed.
The cruise ship did ask for proof of vaccine, but Portugal is
treating Covid as a bad cold!
We had put off our paid for Portugal trip for 3 years,
that’s why we went.

This week we are taking our first international trip in 7 years…going to Aruba! I know what you mean about feeling apprehensive and not knowing what to expect. We'll be gone for 10 nights so hopefully the trip will be 'uneventful' and we can get our travel confidence back 🙂 Gulf Shores looks amazing, thanks for sharing!!

My wife and I just recovered from Covid. It is still out there. I would Love to go to Portugal but I am more concerned about energy shortages in Europe. Portugal may not be as affected but you hear bits and pieces of bad news from Europe. I hope that you found your Curry fix.
