Shidaaaa!! When you said law firms thrive on toxicity…that was truth! I was a graphic designer and made my office a tranquil and peaceful place in decor, etc. Cause I could feel the coldness, pretension and stress.
Chiiilllllle streets-scapes needs to be a topic on its own!!! The way I had to reevaluate ALL my life choices lugging 70+ lb luggage up cobblestone stairs 😫😭 nobody tells you these things

I am also a former Army brat and loved traveling so much to other countries….this ruined me to being able to tolerate short short trips. Thank you Rashida and Kathy for helping all of us interested in slow travel…you are both so inspiring…!

Lots of Portuguese has an egg on it. That's on of my favorite parts 🙂 Kathy, did you go to the Azores? The food there is a little different from what you get on the mainland. If you end up back in NJ, you should hit all the Portuguese places in Newark and Elizabeth. Valenca is one of my favorites.
