Huge Plate of Sea Bass for €8 in Porto! | Portugal is so Cheap

This little restaurant in Porto was a great find indeed. I ordered a glass of Reserve White Wine for 3 Euros to start. Then I asked for the Sea Bass and rice. When it arrived it looked and smelled heavenly. Flaky skin and all juicy tender white meat inside. I absolutely loved this dish and on the side I got a huge heaping of rice with tomato. I cannot believe how cheap this restaurant was and especially for the great quality. I finished with a Passion Fruit topped Cheese Cake. The whole bill came to 16 Euros, Porto is so cheap! #cheapfood #cheaptravel

  1. Hi Kerry. That meal looks really nice. I don't eat much fish when I'm at home but I do eat more in Porto. I'm back in Porto on Monday for 12 days. I think I know where that restaurant is. It looks like it's near the hospital. I havent been there. I wish you were still in Porto I'd have liked to have a drink with you.

  2. That meal was definitely a ten. A beautiful presentation of the baked sea bass. Rice was a nice side dish. You really enjoyed that meal. The dessert looked delicious and also a great choice. A great choice for this restaurant. The video made me hungry.

  3. Looks like an excellent white wine! I love Porto restaurants, the food is insanely fresh and delicious. I had fabulous meals for under $10. I still prefer living in Spain but restaurants are better in Portugal.
