I never dreamed of this after leaving the city – receiving my book in the mail (pre-publication!)
I suppose this video is a bit of a celebration, also a thank you to everyone who has encouraged me on this endeavor – and please feel free to skip this if you are not interested in my writing (it’s totally ok, and I will see you next week! Much love ❤️) . I got a copy of my book to take a look at before it is published. The copies are not yet available in stores but will be by the end of the year. I couldn’t have imagined things would turn out this way after leaving my apartment and moving here, it’s honestly the last thing I expected when I started working as a teacher and filming little videos with my iPhone during lockdown. This is an incredible community and I am humbled and honored by all the kind words, messages, and support. Thank you so, so much!

Both of my parents are from Michigan as I have lived there also since I was a child back in 1976. Dad,, though, was a Marine stationed in Bremerton (across from Seattle) and mom was with him and thus I was born in Bremerton. We moved away not long afterward. I was too young to remember the state and I have not been back. So, again thank you for the videos.
